UnitedIP is accepted by iBurst (Personal Broadband Australia) as their newest Channel Partner and currently only 'Wholesale Only' partner.

Sam Sarkis, Managing Director of Untied IP, officially announced today that UnitedIP has become the newest partner of next-generation wireless technology provider 'iBurst'.

UnitedIP is the first 'wholesale only' partner of iBurst, selling the technology via its diverse range of Channel Partners who belong to the Neutral Broadband Programme.

UnitedIP has a philosophy that its Channel Partners are the best people to be managing the relationship with their end customers. Mixing wholesale and retail in the same business is not only a complicated model to balance, but you lose the trust and loyalty of your specialist channels.

iBurst has the potentional to revolutionise the way businesses use mobile data communications. The mobile sales or service force will be able to have live, secure access to information previously only available from the wired corporate network.

UnitedIP has designed their interconnect to the iBurst network in a way that iBurst connections can easily be used to securely connect iBurst users into private corporate LANs. With a connection from the corporate LAN to the UnitedIP core network, mobile users will be able to communicate over a PN (Private Network) to access secure corporate networks.

Garry Lau, former National Sales Manager of Nextep has been appointed as Product Manager for the iBurst product range.
